A few thoughts for 2007
These are not mine - just borrowed.
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid some day, lying in a hospital dying of nothing.
All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make them normal.
We know exactly where one cow with Mad-cow-disease is located among millions and millions of cows in America. But, we haven't got a clue as to where thousands of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigrations.

One of my 77-year-old friends has been the perfect picture of health for years. 100 pushups / situps a day. Running 5 miles on the beach every day. Eating right. Mostly vegetarian-style. He's recently been fighting just one health problem after another (including cancer), but he used to tell me, "Greg, you gotta stay young and healthy!" I'd tell him, "You know, you're just going to die healthier than I some day."
